Hey! I’m Val, the founder of Valencia Studios, and proud mom to two energetic boys who keep life full, loud, & beautiful.

My passion for photography started as a hobby and quickly grew into something so much bigger, inspired by my family and the way they’ve taught me to slow down and enjoy the moments that matter most.

Now I get to do that for other families.

I’m here to capture the real stuff, the connection, the chaos, the quiet in-betweens, and the laughter you didn’t realize you’d want to remember.

  • I live for music and photography and of course my beautiful family!!

  • Favorite foods - A nice aged steak with buttery mashed potatoes and asparagus.. Yumm! Also, Sushi and of course PIZZA!
  • Coffee or tea? Both!!
  • Favorite Movie Genre - Comedy, Cult Classics, Fantasy, Family, Period Dramas.. I can keep going.
  • Favorite Movies - This can go on for days so I'll try to keep it short! A Night at the Roxbury, Coyote Ugly, Beetlejuice, Ever After & Sing 1 and 2!!
  • Favorite Shows - I love Lucy, The Munster's, The Office, Schitt's Creek, The Last Kingdom, Vikings, Fallout, Roswell NM!
  • Favorite Pastime - BBQs with friends and family and going to concerts!
  • I was on a Darts League with my husband before starting our family.
  • My husband and I coached Tee-Ball and Baseball for our sons' teams.
  • I have been to over 12 concerts! Theres still a few more on my list!
  • I've spent some time taking photos of fires for a fire investigation company
